Make communities 5G ready
Transit Wireless helps its partners build for the future of 5G. Our networks are future-proofed and ready to support the rollout of 5G and smart city technology.
In New York, we built our network with fiber to the edge, which allows for 5G and many Internet of Things (IoT) solutions as we build toward smarter cities.
Strong Mobile Network Operator relationships
As a neutral host provider, Transit Wireless has strong relationships with all Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) – AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. We are in constant communication with each of these operators and uniquely understand their needs as they prepare for 5G deployment. This includes a Network Operations team which has supported MNO wireless connectivity within the NYC subway since 2011.
