- Why did you want to work at Transit Wireless?
The sky is the limit at Transit Wireless and being a part of something with so much potential is incredibly exciting to me. Everywhere I look, I see opportunities for our team, our clients, and the communities we operate in.
Since I joined Transit Wireless, I have realized how inclusive and diverse our culture is. I want to be a part of a team that brings different perspectives and creative ideas to every project.
- What keeps you excited to come to work?
The variety of projects and collaborative environment at Transit Wireless keeps me excited to come to work. I am continuously inspired by my colleagues, who are so passionate about delivering innovative and reliable connectivity solutions for our customers and users.
I also see a chance to serve local communities and create a positive impact with our technology. Every day feels like an opportunity to enhance people’s experiences with vital technology and help close a digital divide in underserved communities.
- What projects are you excited to work on?
I am thrilled to be a part of the network expansion project for New York City’s subway system. It is such a transformational project for the City of New York and the riders of NYCT. Once implemented, travelers could have full connectivity during their entire subway journey. For network operators, this would be a perfect opportunity to expand 5G coverage and enhance network performance.
- A little about you?
I was born and raised in China and moved to the US to complete my graduate study. I met my husband here in New York and have lived in the New York/Connecticut area ever since. Our two daughters are quite active in sports and school, and our youngest has been named to the USA Artistic Swimming National Youth Team this past summer.
As a working mom, having a work-life balance is important. For me, it is doing the right things at the right time and being able to prioritize and have the work schedule flexibility. I really appreciate our hybrid work schedule here at TW. It allows me the flexibility to collaborate with my colleagues in an office environment, meet clients at different locations, and support our daughters when they need me.
